Meaning and Nature of research
Meaning of Research is find or study but it is not a research if someone have founded and you will study & publish about it. Know about some fact and do inside on that topic, study on it and find a description is only research. In simple meaning of research is finding a new fact, knowledge, notice etc to know or try to do on scientific system on it is called research.
Research words divided to Re + Search or ‘Re’ mean Next and ‘Search’ mean found something. Its meaning on single form is social incident and solution s of problems to solve and better manage or give some new ideas; make a proper topic on it is called research.
One topics research may be some time in different types. Being different people have different ideas. Suppose social research means found on topic like Humanity Development, culture, History etc. People get from these types of research may get people’s habit, religion, superstition, festivals; languages all subject can be found or do better study on it.
Scope and objective of research are, to achieve new insight into a phenomenon, to highlight the characteristics of a particular individual, situation or a group, to test a hypothesis of a casual relationship between independent and dependant variables, determine how often something occur or its association with something else. Characteristics of research are systematic, logical, empirical and replicable. Types of research are basic vs. applied, distinction between theoretical and applied research, descriptive vs. analytical, quantitative vs. qualitative, conceptual vs. empirical. All are used on scientific research process.
At last I want to state about steps of research are sensing or realizing, problem identification, review of literature, hypothesis formulation, research design, data collection, analysis of data, interpretation and generalization.
